Maury County is the home of the 11th President James K. Polk and Columbia's Mule Day. With its rich civil war history and many antebellum homes, it is a favorite of history enthusiasts from all over the country.  The area is fast becoming known for its shopping and dining experiences as well as outdoor fun.
