The Tennessee Soybean Promotion Council is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the soybean programs for both the Tennessee Soybean Promotion Board and Tennessee Soybean Association. The Council is composed of the chairman and vice chairman of the Tennessee Soybean Promotion Board, the president and vice president of the Tennessee Soybean Association, the Tennessee director of the American Soybean Association, and the Tennessee director of the United Soybean Board. Ninety-six percent of the staff activities involve day to day business of the soybean checkoff and the Tennessee Soybean Promotion Board. The remaining four percent of staff allocation is dedicated to the Tennessee Soybean Association business including membership and lobbying.
